The Youth Researchers project builds the capacity of youth to undertake research in their communities. They are trained on basic participatory research methodologies before conducting research on prominent issues affecting children and youth, such as violence and unemployment. The findings gathered are shared publicly and used to develop projects/programs to solve the challenges. The researchers also assist MYCN’s M&E officer to gather information from the community as one of the means of assessing the performance of MYCN projects and programs.
